A hearing requested by Montevideo Police Chief Adam Christopher has been rescheduled to January 24 at 1pm at the Renville County Courthouse in Olivia. The hearing was originally scheduled for November 28 in Montevideo but was rescheduled following a continuance request from Christopher’s attorney, Robert Plesha of St. Paul.

Christopher is currently out on personal sick leave following allegations of harassment. An 18-year-old woman from Boyd was recently granted a temporary restraining order against Christopher. The order will be in effect until November 2020 unless it is changed by the court after the hearing. The hearing will be open to the public.
