The Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital has plans to rebrand this summer to CCM Health.
“Ever since anyone can remember, our organization has been called Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital,” said CEO Brian Lovdahl, “Of course, we are much more than [a hospital]. We have four clinics, we own an ambulance, we own home health. We have a wide array of services that we offer.”
Lovdahl said he hopes the name change reflects the organizations growing commitment to all aspects of health: physical, mental, spiritual, and social.
CCMH is considering opening a community garden later this summer. They also have plans to hire a new social worker and psychiatric nurse practitioner.
The name change to CCM Health is expected to take place in August.
“The rebranding, right now, is penciled in for August 1,” said Lovdahl, “We’re coordinating that with the roll out of a new website.”
