The Minnesota River at Montevideo crested at 21.29 feet on Friday evening. It was recorded at 20.75 feet on Monday morning and is expected to continue to fall slowly throughout the week. This was the fourth highest recorded crest for the Minnesota River at Montevideo.

The Minnesota River at Granite Falls crested at 893.5 feet on Saturday morning. It was recorded at 892.8 feet on Monday morning and is also expected to continue to fall slowly throughout the week. This was the seventh highest recorded crest for the Minnesota River at Granite Falls.

There is a slight chance of scattered showers forecast throughout the week. In the absence of major rainfall, the river at both Montevideo and Granite Falls is forecast to drop by 1 to 3 feet by Friday evening. Several roads in both counties are likely to remain closed throughout the week.
