A new World War I exhibit opens this week at the Chippewa County Historical Society. “‘Many Were Called, Our Entire Region Responded – How the Great War hit home in West Central Minnesota” will be on display at Village Hall in the Historic Chippewa City in Montevideo through September 20. The exhibit includes artifacts, photographs, and stories from Chippewa County residents who served in WWI. All veterans will be admitted free of charge.
