(Montevideo, MN) — Numbers in from the Minnesota Department of Health show that the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 are rapidly approaching 2500 with just over 1200 recoveries. The death toll stands at 143 as of Monday night. Just under 47,000 people have been tested in the state. After a long run without any cases, Chippewa County reported its first confirmed case on Monday. ¬†Lyon county is still reporting 5 cases, with Yellow Medicine and Renville Counties at 3 confirmed cases apiece.
