(Granite Falls, MN) — A local manufacturer in Granite Falls is joining in the fight against COVID-19. Granite Falls Woodworks is one of the new additions to the downtown business district. The co-owners, Robb Sneller, Jeff Bot, and Marshall Anderson, saw a chance to help out the local community after a supplier came to them with an opportunity to purchase hand sanitizer.

In a news release, Anderson said, “Our coating supplier came to us as a customer and said that they had the capability to make bulk sanitizer and they asked us if we wanted some. We got together and looked at the cost and with everything going on we thought that we would help out if we could. So, we bought the maximum amount we could buy with the plan of donating it all to local businesses.”

This week, Granite Falls Woodworks made donations of hand sanitizer to Johnson Memorial Health Services in Dawson and Avera Hospital in Granite Falls.
