(New London, MN) — On Sunday at around 5:30 p.m. the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of county road 9 and county road 33 in Burbank Township.

Upon arrival deputies observed a 2018 Honda Odyssey and a 2014 Ford Expedition in the Southeast ditch. Deputies learned that the Odyssey was headed East on county road 33 and failed to stop at the county road 9 intersection striking the southbound Expedition.

The Odyssey was driven by a 36 year old Jamie Henson of White Bear Lake. Passengers, also from White Bear Lake, were 32 year old Robert B. Henson, 3 year old Robert J. Henson, and 2 year old Zoe Henson. The Expedition was driven by 63 year old Ricky Baker of Willmar. His passengers, also from Willmar, were 59 year old Michelle Baker, 55 year old Karen Cram, and 53 year old David Cram. David Cram was airlifted from the scene due to serious injuries. 

All occupants were transported to Carris Health in Willmar. The crash is under investigation. 

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New London Fire Department, New London Ambulance, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Centracare Ambulance, Life link Air Ambulance and the Willmar Police Department.
