(Blaine, MN)  —  Minnesota United players did not take part in voluntary workouts yesterday at the team’s Blaine training site.  But concerns that kept players from the workouts leaguewide remain in negotiations.  Those issues include salary and bonus cuts, and extending the collective bargaining agreement by one year to 2025.  Meanwhile, a noon deadline today looms for the MLS and its players to reach a deal that would continue a season suspended since March.  The players union announced Sunday that it approved a counteroffer of economic concessions intended to get the league underway during the COVID-19 pandemic.
