(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Wild goalie Alex Stalock is in contention to earn an NHL honor.  He was nominated yesterday by the Twin Cities chapter of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.  The award recognizes the player who best exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.  Stalock started 16 games as a fill-in for starter Devan Dubnyk, including seven in a row when he registers five wins and two losses.  He helped the Wild to get closer to a wild-card-berth in the Western Conference.
