(Minneapolis, MN)  —  According to a recent report, it cost millions of dollars to deploy the Minnesota National Guard to deal with violent protests in the Twin Cities.

The Minnesota Management and Budget Department says the guard requested 12-point-seven-five-million dollars to pay for the response ordered by Governor Tim Walz.  Reports say the money should be eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency reimbursement.
