(Chippewa County, MN) — Some Minnesota doctors are opting to use shorter swabs during COVID-19 tests.  The swabs for a nasal exam are normally long enough to reach where the nasal cavity meets the throat, therefore the procedure can be painful.  Organizers of a large testing event this past weekend near Austin decided to use a shorter swab after some people stayed away from a previous event due to concerns about the discomfort.
