(Benson, MN) — According to family members, a Benson man who was critically injured in a controlled burn accident has died. An outdoor funeral service for 74-year-old Steve Svor is set for 11 a.m. on Monday July 6th at the family farm. Svor was badly burned May 8th when he fell off the tailgate of a pickup truck and into burning grass as he was doing a controlled burn near his home south of Swift Falls. Svor succumbed to his injuries on June 29th at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis.
