A motorcycle involved in an accident this week in Lac qui Parle County. The sheriff says the driver would be in serious shape if he hadn't worn protective gear.

Lac qui Parle Sheriff Allen Anderson noted the third motorcycle accident in less than two weeks yesterday. He shared a picture with the media of the cycle of a driver who hit a deer and was thrown over the handlebars, yet walked away with minor scratches. The sheriff attributed this to the driver wearing protective gear. The driver’s jacket did get ripped, his helmet scratched up and the bike suffered some damage.
