The Annual Fiesta Days Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show will be held at its rescheduled date of Sunday, August 23. Organizer Mike Dupere told the Montevideo-American News that even though Fiesta Days was cancelled this year, they will keep the traditional name of the car show. The show will be held on Main Street in Montevideo, which will be blocked off for the event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no charge for the public to attend, but there will be free ice cream, free popcorn and a free pork sandwich feed. There will also be a DJ spinning hits from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. For participating units, there is a $10 entry fee, with registration opening at 8 a.m. that day.
