The Montevideo School Board had it’s monthly meeting this week.  Dr. Luther Heller, the Superintendent says that  they discussed the plan for students starting the school year later this month.  Grades K-3 will be going to school in person.

Grades 4-7 will be on a hybrid where half of the students will be in school Mondays and Wednesdays, while the other half will go in Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Fridays will be available for students who need a little extra help.  Grades 8-12 will also be on a hybrid, but it is different.  The school will be in four groups.  Each group will go into school one day and distance learn the others.  Fridays would also be a day for extra help.

These plans can change, based on the increase or decrease of positive Covid-19 tests in Chippewa County.  School begins in Montevideo on August 31st.
